Yes. Most extras covers contribute toward dental costs. Anaesthetist fees are eligible for Medicare rebates and the facility fee will completely be out of pocket.  

No referral is needed. You can book directly with Totem Dental for an initial consultation.

Nearly all general dental treatments can be performed, including:

No. You’ll be completely unconscious and won’t feel anything during the procedure. You also won’t have any memory of it afterward.

Consultations are at Totally Smiles Pakenham and Botanic Ridge Dental Procedures under general anaesthesia are performed at 3AI Care, an accredited facility by a specialist anaesthetist alongside your Totem Dental team.

Yes. We routinely treat children under general anaesthetic, especially those with extensive decay, special needs, or previous trauma. We aim to make it a calm and positive experience for both child and parent.
